About me
A little truth about who I am and the path that brought me here.
I am Alex Viiberg. I help people come back into themselves through breath, emotion, movement, and the kind of honesty that settles you deeper into your own life.
Core Energetics is the backbone of my work. Everything else I have learned, including breathwork, meditation, yoga, behavioral change, and leadership training, simply supports the deeper process of helping you meet your own aliveness.
My path was lived, tested, and earned through experience, not theory.
This page is the story of that.
Where This Journey Started
Long before I studied Core Energetics, I was searching for what it means to live fully. I did not want to simply manage life or cope with it. I wanted to understand myself. I wanted to breathe again. I wanted to feel safe inside my own body.
I struggled with panic attacks, overwhelm, and a pressure that made the world feel too small. My search pulled me into breathwork, meditation, behavioral change, and deeper studies in mind, body, and spirit.
Nothing connected the dots the way Core Energetics did.
Core taught me something simple and life changing:
the body tells the truth long before the mind does.
When I felt that truth in myself, not as a concept but as a physical reality, everything shifted.
Why Core Energetics
Became My Center
When I found Core Energetics, I stepped into a path that demanded the same level of honesty, presence, and commitment that I wanted to hold myself to. The training did not allow me to stay on the surface. It required real work. Growth through mind, body, and spirit. Consistent sessions with my mentor. Real self examination. Real emotional contact.
The first phase of the program focused entirely on learning the foundation of the modality and applying it to my own life. I learned to hold myself to a higher standard of truth, expression, and integrity. I respected that deeply because it reminded me of the type of leadership I value. A true leader does not ask someone to walk a path they have not walked themselves.
Core Energetics became the center of my practice and the direction of my life.
Everything I study becomes something I live.
Every tool I use is something I have practiced in my own body first.
Alongside Core Energetics, I continue to expand my understanding of breathwork, meditation, and somatic presence. My upcoming month long yoga teacher training retreat in January 2026 is part of this commitment. It is a space where phones are set aside, presence is the priority, and each day includes classes and long periods of meditation. I chose this because I believe in guiding from experience, not from theory.
My background in leadership is another important thread. For more than thirteen years, I trained and mentored people through the Hungarian Scout movement. Those years taught me how to stay grounded under pressure, communicate clearly, build trust, and guide groups toward clarity. I did not know then that it was preparing me for the work I do now, but it was. Leadership, embodiment, truth, and integrity are the foundation of how I hold space today.
What I Bring Into My Work
Why I Do This Work
I do this work because I have lived the experiences my clients bring into the room. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, shut down, or afraid of my own inner world. I also know the relief that comes when things begin to shift. When breath returns. When emotions soften. When trust in oneself begins to grow.
Core Energetics taught me that transformation is possible when we meet ourselves honestly. I want others to experience what I have lived: a gradual but powerful return to aliveness.
My Philosophy
I will never guide someone into a place I have not gone myself.
I will never ask for a level of honesty or presence that I do not practice.
And I will never pretend to have it all figured out.
My philosophy is simple. My growth comes first so that I can serve with clarity. I stay in my process. I continue to study. I continue to be mentored by my Core Energetics teacher, David Phillips. I continue to challenge myself to expand my capacity. This is the standard I hold for myself because I believe real transformation begins with embodiment, not performance.
Primal Thrival was born from this philosophy. It grew from the moment I realized that thriving is not something you stumble into. It is something you practice. It is something you build. It is something you learn to live.
What I Want for You
I want you to feel at home in your own body.
I want your breath to move with ease.
I want your emotions to feel safe to express.
I want you to trust yourself in moments that used to shut you down.
I want you to feel grounded, connected, and alive.
I want you to experience a life that feels like thriving, not surviving.
